PATH, BRINGING POSITIVE CHANGE TO OUR COMMUNITY
Pakistani Americans Of The Town Of Huntington
VISION &
PRIORITIES
We envision a society rooted in justice, dignity, and shared opportunity—where every person’s voice is respected and democratic institutions are transparent, accountable, and strong. In this vision, Muslims and Pakistani Americans are fully seen, heard, and valued as integral contributors to the social, cultural, and civic fabric of the nation, free to live, worship, and participate without fear or exclusion.
Our vision is of thriving, interconnected communities shaped by civic engagement, mutual respect, and principled leadership. We believe a stronger future is built when diversity is embraced, civil rights are protected, and policies reflect compassion, equity, and responsibility to generations to come—ensuring that all communities, including Muslims and Pakistani Americans, can prosper and help lead the way forward.

President
Muhammad Ashraf Azmi
Dear friends, brothers, and sisters,
I wish you all a very happy, healthy, and blessed year 2026.
As we begin this new year, I am honored and humbled to assume the presidency of PATH. Leading an organization like PATH is a great responsibility, and I look forward to working with all of you, with your guidance and support.
PATH was formed during a time of rising Islamophobia and misunderstanding, with the purpose of strengthening our community and encouraging active participation in the social and political life of the country we now call home. History shows us that immigrant and minority communities only gain respect and representation when they unite and engage collectively in civic life.
While our community has made meaningful progress, there is still much work to be done. Too few of us are registered to vote or involved in local civic institutions, even though these decisions directly affect our families and future generations.
If we wish to live with dignity and ensure a safe, just future for our children, we must take responsibility and actively contribute our time, voices, and resources. We cannot rely on others to advocate for us—this responsibility belongs to each one of us.
Thank you.
Working together for a better tomorrow!
